Dock Piles

Storms in the Carolinas had ripped out docks all over the inland waterways. Contractors were running behind schedule to meet the repair demands. Crews historically relied on barges to bring in the equipment required to install the docks. The barges require high tide to float into the tidal flats.

The Challenge:

Repair hundreds of docks all up and down the eastern seaboard.

The Solution:

Build the docks from the shore out eliminating the need for the barges and increasing the install time between tides.

The Tools:

Rhino PD 200, 185 Compressor, Lifting equipment.

The Result:

Contractors were more able to meet the customers demand and increased the number of billable hours.
